Pastor's Bio.

Pastor Rashid L. Brown, the son of William and Nora Brown, was born on May 23, 1976, in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He was a member born into the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit the “Home of the War Cry”, formerly Prayer Tabernacle Church of Love Inc., where he served under the tutelage of the late Bishop Kenneth H. Moales, Sr. Pastor Rashid L. Brown is the proud husband of Keneé Brown, of 20 years. He is also the proud father of their 6 beautiful children; Rajané, Lazarus, Ranease, Rania, Benjamin & Judah-Ryann.

Pastor Brown has served in various ministries in the church before preaching and teaching of the Word of God.  In 2001 he was installed as a Deacon, in which he created the Prayer Tabernacle Security Ministry. In 2005, Pastor Brown accepted the call from God to “Preach the Word!”

In January of 2008, Pastor Brown accepted the assignment to teach the Adult Sunday School Class by Bishop Kenneth Moales Sr. where he discovered one of his greatest passions, teaching. Pastor Brown grew the class from 10 members to over 50 attendees on a weekly basis, and continued to do so for over a decade.

In 2014, Pastor Brown was ordained and licensed as an Elder and Associate Pastor of the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit where he was instrumental in the training of Aspiring Ministers, New Members Classes and establishing the Hamden and Norwalk Campuses of the Cathedral.

In 2017, Pastor Brown began his own Saturday Bible Study called “Word Warriors” and through this ministry he had received many testimonies of souls being reclaimed back to Christ as well as broken relationships being restored, through the power of the Word of God.

Pastor Brown has embraced the call of God on his life to become a pastor.  On Sunday, May 5, 2019 the Redemption Church of Love had its inaugural service under the leadership of Pastor Rashid L.
